In the beginning, let the company find someone to rent to. Then take care of managing the house and tenants yourself. After one year it was decided to let the company manage everything because our family lives in a different area. This makes administrative management quite difficult and very stressful.Evan and Matt manage the house and take care of their tenants like they are their own. Sincerely pay attention to every detail. Solve immediate problems and help follow up with honest professionalism. that we ourselves can check whenever we want Make every problem that seems difficult become easy. Looking for a home to rent when we are not in the country is a lot- I can’t image what we would have done if we didn’t have expats homes. Matt and Pear were completely wonderful. Helpful. And they set you up really well. From the start of looking, down to lease, and move in, and they are still helping us with things. Very awesome real estate agent, enthusiastic and patient! He patiently answered all our questions, drove me to see the house according to our requirements, and found the house we wanted, which made it easy for us to settle in Chiang Mai. During the process of handing over the house, he helped us communicate and complete the rental contract signing. There are many international schools near the office of this real estate agency, which is especially suitable for families who study abroad to find a house to settle down.
We stumbled upon Expat Housing’s office and they welcomed us in and immediately treated us like the valued customers and even friends. From the get go I found that that I could trust Matt and he wasn’t just trying to close a deal, but rather trying to make a long term relationship.We ended up taking a place he recommended even though the current tenant was occupying and sick unavailable to allow us to visit during our quick trip to CM.Matt went above and beyond in arranging a showing via FaceTime and inspecting multiple times and cleaning and helping us arrange everything from the singing to water and wifi. He also helped us negotiate with the landlord for a new washing machine and fridge.100% would recommend and use again.
We had an issue with our drain under the kitchen sink. It was like someone who had clogged arteries in their heart. After many, many years of dumping grease and oil down the sink drain, it finally clogged and would not drain properly. Hence the issue we had with water backing up into our kitchen. Chatrii and Nui came to our rescue and with the skill of a surgeon, knew exactly where the problem was and they were able to fix it without having to do bypass surgery. Thank you guys for your professionalism and the way you handled our problem.
We would highly recommend Expat Homes, especially for those who are making their move for the first time. Matt was responsive to our inquiries, and even did a video walkthrough for us so that we could look at the home to decide since we couldn't be there in person. It has been such a pleasure working with them, and they've made everything as smooth of a transition as possible.
Within 2 weeks of our first contact with Expat, we signed a contract and began moving into a house that was perfect for us (and within our very limited budget). Tiew was patient with us. Expat Homes did a very good job in helping us finding a house. In a short amount of time they were able to show us some properties. They took care of the contract and all the things that needed to be arranged. The contact was very fast via line and the contract if both on Thai and English what makes it good for local and expat people.
We used Expat Homes about two years ago to find our beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. They were so helpful then and have continued to make negotiating repairs and paying our landlord so easy! We didn’t speak alot of Thai at first and our landlord lives abroad but neither of these have been a problem thanks to Expat Homes. Matt and Evan are professional and extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business in Thailand. They have an excellent Thai staff as well.
