We believe the people are the best part of our business
Traditionally, real estate begins with a property and looks for people to match with it. Based on our own experiences and frustrations of trying to navigate the pitfalls and frustrations of the rental/real estate market in Chiang Mai, Expat Homes was birthed from a desire to begin with the people and their needs and then seek to find specific properties to match with those values. It is our greatest joy to turn over any rock we can in order to help our clients find a place they can call home.
~ Expat Homes Team
To say that Matt is an idea machine is putting it lightly, especially when it comes to business. Whether it’s finding creative ways to help clients, researching ways to watch Kansas State football in Thailand, or developing new business opportunities there’s always plenty to dream about.
Evan’s process is ready, aim, aim again, then shoot (maybe). He enjoys using a steady approach along with his nerdy background to improve our customer’s experience as well as our team’s efficiency. If you want to peak his interest just mention anything about sports or Northwest Arkansas.
Tata is the most jovial person on our team while also being a work output machine. He patiently answers questions and probably knows every foreigner in Chiang Mai.
While her name suggests she’d be partial to fruits, she actually grows vegetables. In comparison to farming vegetables, keeping Expat Homes organized is light work for her.
While she used to work at an amusement park, she still rides the roller coaster in the daily changing landscape of homes in Chiang Mai. She’s multi-talented so if you ask what else she’s good at besides social media & marketing the answer is “yes”.
His name kinda says it all. From the time we hired him we’ve felt like champions. He deftly coordinates our maintenance teams and responds to our emails before we can write them.
Joe is our chief fixer (but not in a mafia sense). He can often be found under a sink or near a breaker box. His humor is as good as his work.
If you haven’t met Chatrii, just think sledge hammer with a big smile. He’s strong as an ox (he owns a few as well) and calmly fixes any issue we throw his way.
Nui is the most laid back person you’ll ever meet. But don’t let that fool you because he’s powered by coffee and has fixed homes in every nook and cranny of Chiang Mai.
Surin is very quiet, but the quality of his work speaks volumes. You never quite know what he is thinking, but just ask him where he wants to live some day. You might get an interesting answer.
Chana’s name actually means “win,” but you won’t find him bragging about it. He’s taking victory laps on his motorbike as he scouts out the finest houses in the city.
