I’ve worked with Expat Homes twice now and both of my experiences were absolutely superlative. Evan, Matt, Tata, and the rest of the team are not only great people but they are consummate professionals who listen to your needs and do everything they can to serve you and your family in the best possible way. The Expat Homes team also intimately understands the kinds of preferences that foreigners have in terms of build quality, neighborhood, and aesthetics. These are not trivial things and if you’ve tried searching for homes yourself you’ll discover that it’s not always an easy or stress free process. Not only did Evan and his team help us find two lovely homes to date, their maintenance team led by Win has also been competent, punctual, and timely in helping sort various home fixes. I’m not in any way being incentivized to write this review, nor was I even asked. But I honestly can’t understand some of the negative reviews here. I’ve done my own home search in different price ranges and neighborhoods in Chiang Mai and it’s just a big headache with a lot of wasted time, low standards, and hit or miss integrity. Whereas dealing with Expat Homes I know that they’ll never compromise on these things, and never have. They even help negotiate and deal with the owners on your behalf which is incredibly helpful. Plus they know all of the different areas and neighborhoods inside and out, including many of the families who live there! Very awesome real estate agent, enthusiastic and patient! He patiently answered all our questions, drove me to see the house according to our requirements, and found the house we wanted, which made it easy for us to settle in Chiang Mai. During the process of handing over the house, he helped us communicate and complete the rental contract signing. There are many international schools near the office of this real estate agency, which is especially suitable for families who study abroad to find a house to settle down.
We stumbled upon Expat Housing’s office and they welcomed us in and immediately treated us like the valued customers and even friends. From the get go I found that that I could trust Matt and he wasn’t just trying to close a deal, but rather trying to make a long term relationship.

We had an issue with our drain under the kitchen sink. It was like someone who had clogged arteries in their heart. After many, many years of dumping grease and oil down the sink drain, it finally clogged and would not drain properly. Hence the issue we had with water backing up into our kitchen. Chatrii and Nui came to our rescue and with the skill of a surgeon, knew exactly where the problem was and they were able to fix it without having to do bypass surgery. Thank you guys for your professionalism and the way you handled our problem.

English speaking repair staff are a godsend, and at reasonable fees. Moreover they work efficiently and are not shy if problems they encounter.
We would highly recommend Expat Homes, especially for those who are making their move for the first time. Matt was responsive to our inquiries, and even did a video walkthrough for us so that we could look at the home to decide since we couldn't be there in person. It has been such a pleasure working with them, and they've made everything as smooth of a transition as possible.
Within 2 weeks of our first contact with Expat, we signed a contract and began moving into a house that was perfect for us (and within our very limited budget). Tiew was patient with us. Expat Homes did a very good job in helping us finding a house. In a short amount of time they were able to show us some properties. They took care of the contract and all the things that needed to be arranged. The contact was very fast via line and the contract if both on Thai and English what makes it good for local and expat people.
We used Expat Homes about two years ago to find our beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. They were so helpful then and have continued to make negotiating repairs and paying our landlord so easy! We didn’t speak alot of Thai at first and our landlord lives abroad but neither of these have been a problem thanks to Expat Homes.
